Women Healthcare
Beyond OB-GYN, what gaps exist?
A (Clinician): Heart disease presents differently in women, yet protocols are male-centric. We need better diagnostic tools and training.
B (Researcher): Funding is skewed. Conditions like endometriosis or PCOS are under-researched despite affecting 10% of women. We need more biomarkers.
C (Public Health): Access is the issue. Rural women lack mammography and prenatal care. Mobile health units and telehealth are the only scalable solutions.
D (Advocate): Mental health is part of women’s healthcare. Postpartum depression and perimenopause mood disorders are ignored. Let’s integrate psychiatry into women’s clinics.
